Making Chinese Lanterns

As part of our topic The Shang Dynasty the children took a look at modern China and some of the traditions and customs they take part in. We made some beautiful Chinese Lanterns using different materials in our classroom and followed the instructions from our teacher. Once we had created our lanterns we then wrote our own procedure on how to make them and let each other follow the instructions to see if we could make them again. Don’t they just look great!
