Yesterday the sun shone for us as we held our annual Sports Day. π
The children cheered on by their family and friends competed in the egg and spoon race; running race whilst balancing a beanbag on your head; beanbag throw; sprint and finished off with the obstacle race. There were a few tight finishes which resulted in some races being run again, but all the children showed great sportsmanship and were graceful in their win or defeat. We were extremely proud of them all. πππ
Before we held our award ceremony we were treated to a delicious snack supplied by our sponsor Killyleagh Spar and some bacon butties or sausage baps cooked by Mrs Martin, Mrs Boyle and Mrs Quinn. Thank you to all.
