Celebrating Internet Safety Day 2026
Safer Internet Day 2026
This week, we celebrated Safer Internet Day 2026! We know how useful digital technology is today in our daily lives, however, we want to ensure our pupils navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
This year, the focus Internet Safety is on the safe use of artificial intelligence (AI).
Each class completed various activities to help them understand what AI is, how it works and how to use it safely, focusing on safe/responsible uses as well as harmful uses and how it could be used negatively.
Our digital leaders also shared some important information and messages around the use of AI and how to use it safely at Friday Mornings Assembly.
“Don’t use it in place of our own thinking and creativity, or to do things that may upset or worry other people.”
Let’s work together to keep our children safe online!
