Data Collecting in P5 & 6

The children completed their final Road Safety Walk today. They set off around the local area wearing their hi-vis vests watching carefully for possible hazards they may face each day on their journey to and from school. They demonstrated an awareness of using the Green Cross Code correctly when crossing the road. The children completed a traffic survey to see how many vehicles travelled along the Comber Road, they were very surprised with how busy the road was! On returning to school the children were presented with a certificate and reflectors, which should keep them safe as the dark evenings return. 

We had a great time collecting our traffic data this morning!
