Exploring Space

In Primary Three this term we have been learning about positional and directional language. Mrs Hagan set us a challenge to direct each around the grid making sure that we collected presents on our way. We worked hard on this and discovered that instead of making a 3/4 turn clockwise we could do a 1/4 turn anti-clockwise. We problem solved as well to see how we could make our journey in the shortest number of steps. 

In Primary Four we were introduced to right angles and made our own right angle tester to investigate what right angles we could find in the classroom.  We then explored what 2D shapes had right angles and finally completed a Kahoot quiz to test our knowledge on right angles.
