Fraction Problem Solving in P4/5

The children were asked to represent a half in as many different ways as possible. As a class we discussed the different strategies they could use including draw it out, use a system and possibly trial and error. Fractions can be a difficult concept and the children thoroughly enjoyed this practical lesson.
