After learning about 'Bouncing Bomb', as part of our World War II topic the children took part in a science investigation where they had to create their own balloon rockets. The children investigated what affect changes to the track had on the distance the rocket travels. They used thin and thick string, changing the slope of the string and the amount of air in the balloons. The children had great fun testing these out, making predictions and drawing conclusions. The most difficult part was blowing up the balloons! 🤣
