Topic Work

The children in P3/4 this month explored the topic 'Helping Hands', they decided to find out all about the role of the Postman as he has such a special job delivering mail especially to Santa! 

They found out all about the different types of mail that the postman delivers and wrote the procedure for 'How to wrap and post a parcel'. 

They investigated and ordered packages according to their size and shape. 

The local postman visited the class and told them all about his daily routine.

In the role play area the children took on the roles of elves, Mrs Claus and Santa Claus working through the sacks of delivered mail.
