Visualising

9th Feb 2019

Today the children had been looking at visualising through stories. We talked about how when we read stories we form pictures in our head and how that everyone can picture it differently. We took part in different activities were we had to listen carefully to the instructions from Miss O’Riordan and draw those things on our whiteboards. We had to draw our favourite shape, animal, food and ourselves. We compared our images and presented them to the rest of the class. Then we had to draw a lake image with a house, ducks and a girl dressed wearing a dress. It’s great to see how we all differently interpret the things we read. We think we are top class at visualising!
